Journey for the Crown is a single player story driven open-world adventure game using multiple characters without the need to pause in combat. Our action based combat system brings interesting ways manage your team in a fun way. Journey for the Crown brings a lengthy choose your own adventure dialogue system with over 250 zones to explore, countless hours of quests, adventures and treasures to discover.
​Journey for the Crown is the first title for Cover Club Media, an independent game studio located in Toronto, Ontario.


Journey for the Crown does not currently have a release date as of yet, but we would like to think it should be ready in a couple years or less. At this stage we're creating areas to adventure in now as almost all of the coding and and the majority of the assets are done.

I've recently upgraded many of my terrains to incorporate better texturing and anti-tiling functions. Along with those features comes some nifty tricks to blended terrains. I'm loving this new look. I keep discovering new ways to enhance how terrain looks with this new addition.

In this scene along with several others you're left with a alone and lost. A vast array of small pockets of trees and rocks don't help guide you through this maze in the desert.

In this scene, I've been messing around with combat. With mechanics such as auto follow, stastic ability pooling for easy casting and many other cool ways to assist in a seemless way to manage your team without pausing. This is some of the best parts of game design.

I've never been a fan of the grind involved with crafting systems. Too many make games make you spend hours on end trying to get that end game item. I've got a different idea with this crafting system.

City Update

It's been a little while since I last posted. I wanted to share a little city update today. I've gone ahead and added quite a bit of detail to spruce up this scene. Not nearly done with it yet. Some notable things I've added are patios, vines, new gardens, statues, crates and barrels.
