• In-Game Clock

    Just added a new in game clock. Sped up for a demonstration. I designed it so it would also b e controlling lights and texture brightness(windows, sun-shafts etc). Some quests and adventures may look at current or elapsed time.

    • Journey for the Crown Throne Room

    I revisited the throne room today... :P Tried some new lighting and created some sun shafts coming through the windows from the garden outside. turned out really nice. A huge effect that gave this scene a much needed boost.

    Here's a short battle in a demo encounter for Journey for the Crown. I've made several changes that improved the way the combat feels and looks. Let me know what you think!

    • Castle Courtyard Scene.

    I've made further updates to the courtyard scene. To give it a little life I've added some birds and a few characters for now. There will be around 20-30 more characters roaming. A merchant was added and his UI was upgraded. The interface works for all sorts of merchant types.

    • Beach Preview Giffy

    Just a small preview of the beach area in the main city of Journey for the Crown. We've completed this scene for the most part(NPC aside). Updates done are water and texturing upgrades. We've also trimmed out the old dock area made of stone.

    • Castle Cavern - Dragon Lair

    Just finished another scene. Below the castle keep lies a warm cavern with fissures of lava. A resting place once for a dragon but now abandoned. What could be lurking near by....

    • JFTC - Animations, Story, Combat and More

    It's been a while since my last update, so I wanted to put together something a bit bigger then the usual. What you see here is my character who's been invited to the castle to solve a mystery. It's not very far in that this main quest begins and reveals the main protagonist.

    • Castle Garden

    Here is the castle garden. Inside the middle of the castle resides this royal garden open from above to bring some much needed light into the area. This scene features a balcony which you can either move along it or below depending if your player triggers the above floor to activate.

    • Inventory Update

    I love this stage, the polish. Well just a bit of a polish and some cool updates to the inventory system. If you read one of my older posts from about a year ago the inventory looked a bit ummm terrible. So I'm proud to show off this version instead!

    • Some Portraits JFTC

    Here are some new portraits I whipped up in a couple of days. It's a ton of work drawing but it's just so relaxing to do. I tend to switch from coding and designing to drawing a couple times a month. But mostly I put the drawing on the backburner for the polishing stage.
