Building a terrain seems like such a simple part of game design but it's quite hard when you're challenged with the many obstacles of game design. I've been routinely creating those naturalistic elements for the first level, our characters home. This does not include your standard ground and tree objects, but more specifically the little tiny things like sticks and random things you see laying around in a forest. After completing several of these, I started putting it together and was finally getting the forest look I was hoping for.
Still many more to go, such as mushrooms, stumps, plants and more.
